Summer learning Journey

Day 2 activity 1

Forest life

I would like to visit Tane Mahuta tree because it's the tallest Kauri tree alive in the north land. It is named for the Maori God of forest and birds. It is an interesting tree because it is almost 2,500 years old. It is a beautiful tree with alot of history. I also like it's very tall trunk and long branches.

  1. Kia Ora Kamaea,

Thankyou for describing the reasons you'd like to visit Tane Mahuta! I like how you have given a lot of adjectives, I'm very impressed! I have actually been to see Tane Mahuta and it is very, very impressive, so I hope you get the chance to go and see it someday! Do you know of any other forests with kauri trees in New Zealand?

    Keep up the great work!
    Talk to you later
