Great choice of transport through the Milford Sound - I thought I would pick the hiking option but I am seriously reconsidering after reading your post... Have you been on a boat before? Do you think you might get to see a lot of sea animals too?
I recently went on a trip to Indonesia and did a tour on a boat. One of our stops was at Manta Ray point where we got to snorkle in the water next to the boat searching for Manta Rays. Do you think you would like to do something like this? Maybe youd be able to do it from the boat on the Milford Sound!
