Summer Learning Journey | Day:3 | Week:3 | Activity:1 | Inventive Inventors | Nanogirl | (4 Points)

Michelle Dickinson, AKA Nanogirl”, is a nanotechnologist. That is an engineer or scientist who
works with very small items called “molecules.” Michelle is famous for creating cool shows
about science which she performs in schools around New Zealand. When she isn’t performing,
she is working as a scientist in her own lab in Auckland. Over the years she has written two
books and won many awards including the New Zealand Women of Influence in Innovation
and Science Award and The New Zealand Order of Merit for her innovative work.
Like Michelle, many people in New Zealand like to create nano-sized (tiny) things. Some people
even like to build tiny houses.

My Work⬇️
If I had a house II will have a big two story house because… small houses are too small for me
to live. I will just need a right sized house for me but big so that I can put my stuff where I want
it to be and I can have my own big room to myself and I have a lot of furniture and things that
belong to me!

  1. Hello Kamaea,
It is me, Vitaraag, back on your blog to see some of the fantastic blog posts you have created. I really like how you showed us a picture of a house you would want to live in. I also like how you explained in detail why you didn't want to live in a tiny house. I actually don't want to live in a tiny house nor do I want to live in a big house. For some reason I hate large houses. I don't know why. I would like to live in a medium sized house. Maybe next time you could add a little outro for your blog post. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!

  2. Kia ora Kamaea,

I totally get what you mean, I'm still not 100% sure about a tiny house either. I like to have a bit of room to move around, but I think I need to see one up close in person before I make up my mind.

Are you more of a city or a country person? I'm curious to know :)

Don't forget to attribute your images. This is when you say where you got your photos from. Here is the link if you don't know how.

We give out full marks when you attribute your photos!

  3. Tiny houses aren't really for me Kamaea - but Mr Collins and I have just had a couple of days in a Mongolian Yurt which was fun! Maybe a tree house, but a luxury one at that! Keep blogging...

  4. Kia pra Kamaea,

Naw that's okay! Tiny houses aren't meant for everyone. Wow, aspring to end up living in a two-story house!! I hope that you are able to get your dream house.

Did you like how the tiny houses' interiors looked?
